YOGA & MEDITATION in SAN FERNANDO VALLEY, CA

Many people think that Yoga is just a physical exercise. But Yoga is much more than that: it's a method for developing your body, mind and spirit.

Yoga means inner oneness.

...it's when you feel totally in peace with yourself ...beyond self-doubt and fear...radiating inner strength, joy and love from within.

We all want to feel like that and we can.

 Series of Lectures/Workshops

"Bhakti Yoga - the highest form of Yoga -       The word Bhakti (devotion) means love. Attraction for any finite object can not be termed Bhakti, only love for the Infinite Entity can be considered true Bhakti. It is this love which will bridge the gap between finite and infinite. Dada will talk about the various types of relationship between the individual and the Supreme and how one can really practice Bhakti Yoga.

**Multimedia Presentations and Lecture on Weekends,  .

"Astaunga Yoga - the eight limbed Yoga" -    a complete practice of Yoga is composed of eight parts which include points to develop the human being in physical, psychic, psycho-spiritual and spiritual aspects. Without any of these eight parts one can not say that he/she is really practicing Yoga. Dada will explain these eight parts and what one can do to include them in one's daily yoga practice.

"Shiva - the Seven Secrets of Success" - the purpose of this workshop is to share the knowledge of Shiva's Teaching / The Seven Secrets of Success. It is an opportunity for you to learn simple and powerful practices for living a successful and fulfilling life. Shiva lived about 7,000 years ago and is considered the father of Yoga. He gave a great contribution to society in the fields of spirituality, medicine, music, dance, personal and social development.

"Energy and Cognition in Yoga Practice" - Energy is never seen or perceived but its effects are seen, perceived or felt. Cognition is also just like energy. The practice of Yoga is a process of transformation of crude into subtle. It starts from the food we eat which is transformed into various elements, from physical to mental and finally into cognition. Cognition being the final result. In this workshop Dada will discuss this process and how once can make it happen within oneself. This knowledge is very important to have a fruitful Yoga and Meditation practice.
